The room was fantastic, with a great view. We were warned beforehand about construction, and it turned out to be true.

It felt like a real family hotel, with a portrait of the founders in the lobby and a very friendly welcome. The room was spacious and clean. The restaurant food and breakfast were excellent. Once the renovation finishes next year, this will probably be a lovely place. However, upon arrival we discovered the hotel was under renovation, with overwhelming noise from a quarter past seven in the morning until five in the evening. Part of the building was in disarray inside, something that wasn’t mentioned on the website. We only received a message about it after we got there, which was very disappointing and I don’t think it’s fair. There is no air‑conditioning, making it very stuffy, especially on a warm day, which made the stay uncomfortable. They offered me a 10% discount because of the inconvenience.
