Alison’s welcome was kind, friendly and available. The room was spacious and the outdoor pool was heated. We had a few issues with the toilets, and the breakfast could use improvement—no seasonal fruit and the two basic cheeses were rather bland.

The reception was very warm. The building was cold, and the price was really high, probably because of the festive weekend in Epernay.

The hospitality and Alison’s friendliness stood out, and the spacious room and beautiful grounds were lovely, though the bathroom felt a bit too dark.
