The building was beautiful and had something special about it; the basement apartment stayed pleasantly cool on those hot days. The shower in the laundry room was a bit odd, but it was okay.

The room was located where the hosts live, which is fine. With GPS it’s easy to find. I won’t rate the breakfast because I brought my own. Everything in my area was nicely cleaned. I left a note saying that an 83‑year‑old man I met felt it was a bit risky with a deep cellar neck without a railing; I’m cautious for his age but I often use a walking stick for safety.

The location near Braband Lake was very nice and the landlord was very friendly. However, the basement vibe and the associated smell were a bit much for me, and the shower in the laundry room wasn’t my thing; I would have liked more cleanliness.
