Amazing hospitality
“Would definitely stay there again”
Fantastic breakfast and wonderful grounds. The history is amazing and you can feel it’s a beloved building that’s seen so many things over centuries. If you like old buildings, you should visit. You do need to make a few allowances for it being 500 years old. Not that it’s a dislike but it may make it not suitable for everyone – some steep stairs and doors etc.
“A Fantastic historical stay, with amazing hosts and great food.”
Tim and Mrs Tim are fantastic hosts, the manor is beautiful and the owners are so helpful and attentive. You really feel like you're visiting a stately home without the ropes. The house is so peaceful and relaxing its a real gem. There are plenty of nighttime options near buy to enjoy a drink or food. Don't eat too much though as you don't want to spoil your appetite for breakfast in the morning. It was lovely everything for breakfast was delicious, freshly prepared and sourced locally or homemade. Thank you Tim & Mrs Tim for a fabulous stay, say hello to the dogs. That we couldn't stay longer
“Don't go there - you won't want to leave!!”
What a gem! Long Crendon Manor is a stunning architectural masterpiece and staying there was an absolute delight. The whole property looked beautiful, the bed was incredibly comfy, the bedroom was huge, the hot water was lovely, and we didn’t want to leave. The grounds were immaculate with sweeping views. Tim, who owns the manor (and his wife Sue, though we didn’t meet her), greeted us and gave us a tour – a consummate host! Tim also cooked and served the best breakfast, all home‑cooked and locally sourced. It was nice to sit in the dining hall at the long table with other guests (something we hadn’t done before – we’re usually at different tables) and chat. Tim even told a superb ghost story that everyone enjoyed :) The beautiful St Bernard’s, Molly and Marmaduke were wonderful and so well behaved. Only staying for one night.
Unique old building lovingly preserved and renovated. Very friendly and very tasty breakfast! Thank you, will gladly return 👍
