The staff were friendly, the view from the room was nice, and the fitness centre was solid. Sometimes the breakfasts could have been more varied, but even this time they weren’t bad.

The hotel’s location on the route to Croatia was a big plus.

The breakfast was adequate, though the scrambled eggs could have been a touch hotter and offered in different styles. The bathrooms might benefit from a vending machine for toiletries or coffee. The fruit selection was generous but could be more diverse, especially for longer stays. The nearby Spar covers all shopping needs, but… The lack of a fridge made storage difficult. A power outlet for the hair dryer would be useful in the bathroom. Unfortunately, the local bus service only runs on Saturdays, and it’s non‑existent on Sundays, so we were stuck there from Friday to Monday. The sauna at the thermal bath was a joke.
