Fernando was friendly and helpful, which made the stay pleasant. Unfortunately the building shows its age – the lighting is dim, the heating barely works and the décor looks like it hasn't been updated in years. They really should swap out the old cover photo for something current.

The front desk was attentive and answered my questions quickly. The only hiccup was that on the first night they forgot to replace the towels, which was a bit annoying.

The heating barely kicked in, so the room stayed chilly, and the thin walls let you hear everything from neighboring rooms. It made it hard to relax.

The rooms were spotless, the staff were courteous, and the courtyard is really charming – those are the highlights here. The hotel itself is modest and shows its age; the facilities could use a refresh, though they’re still kept tidy.

Overall the place was quite good, but the bed linens were disappointing and definitely need to be replaced. That was the only thing that fell short of expectations.
