The King Room provides an extra‑large double bed for two guests. The private bathroom includes free toiletries. Free Wi‑Fi, cable TV and a work desk are available in the room.
The place is roomy and the owner is friendly, plus it even has hookups for a boat, but it wasn’t clean—personal soaps in the bathroom were open—and it seems to need some investment to bring it back to good health.
“No thank you”
Nothing noteworthy from the listing, and I’ve never had such trouble before; the room was dirty, moldy, and nasty, and after reporting it I was cussed and told to leave the property.
“Nice and large room and management very nice and helpful.”
It felt like a countryside retreat in a beautiful area, with lawns and shrubs that were well manicured and clean, though there was no ice machine and breakfast wasn’t served.
This location is unsafe: there are no locks, no staff present, and you’ll likely lose your money and need to book another room—avoid it.
“Do not stay here”
The price was reasonable, but the view and amenities were misrepresented; the owner was the only staff and was almost never present, a broken curtain wouldn’t lower, so we covered the door with a blanket, and half the outlets didn’t work.
