We booked two double rooms with a bed each and a balcony, but arrived in the evening with four people and the receptionist could only offer a four‑bedroom suite down in the basement. She apologized and promised that the next day we could move into the two separate rooms we had originally booked and that we would get a sea‑view room as compensation. Nothing happened – they tried to give us one room (there were no two‑bedrooms left) and forced the other two of us to stay in the dark, dirty, mouldy basement. When we pointed out that this wasn’t what we booked, the head receptionist denied it, claimed the booking showed otherwise and spoke to us very dismissively. We asked to see the reservation, but she said she couldn’t because her staff weren’t there. Oddly, when we arrived she saw that we had actually booked two double rooms, not one four‑bedroom suite. We requested the single double room and a replacement for the basement room the next day; she said the remaining double was already given to someone else (even though we hadn’t asked for it). Since we didn’t press further, they promised two double rooms for the following day. The whole room mix‑up ruined two days of our holiday and even the room we finally got was smaller, without a balcony, and not the one we had reserved, but we didn’t want to ruin the rest of the trip. The head receptionist’s attitude was unacceptable – she showed no concern for guests, didn’t apologise and didn’t try to fix anything, instead blaming the booking system for the error.
The first time we stayed at this hotel, we were satisfied. The staff were wonderful and always friendly. I especially want to highlight the girls at the reception; they solve every issue and are always ready to help.
The location was great, the place was clean, the view was nice, and the food and beverage were good. The hotel took a deposit for pool towels, which I’ve never seen at any other resort or hotel I’ve stayed at before. They also charge 20 € for a second key of the room, even though other resorts give two keys at check‑in. Using the safe box in the room costs 2 € per day. The building design makes rooms not the same size, especially in the balcony area. All rooms numbered 10 to 17 (all floors) have a small balcony but are priced the same as other rooms.
The hotel was pretty clean, the staff were friendly, and we had a nice view. We were on a short walk to the beach, so we took a mini‑bus because it was a bit far and we didn’t think we could get to the beach without transport. We had free sunbeds, good shade, and the beach terrace was great. We didn’t want to go to lunch at the hotel; we had food options like pizza, hamburgers, calamari, and fruit, so the waiter was friendly and made cocktails for us. The food was weak, the pastries were oddly flavored, and many of them tasted like gelatin with artificial colors, not appetizing. We didn’t like them, and another inconvenience was the drinks at both the hotel bar and the beach bar were only available after 11 pm; before that we were thirsty with only water, tea, coffee, and some non‑acidic juices that weren’t good. Otherwise, no complaints.
“A very disappointing stay with poor food, poor cleanliness, and serious unresolved safety concerns.”
Honestly, there was very little that I liked about this hotel. The only positives were Mr. Ismail, who was very helpful and professional, the maintenance technician who did a good job, and the restaurant waiters who were friendly and attentive. Apart from these staff members, I did not find anything else that met my expectations. I was very disappointed with almost every aspect of this hotel. The food quality was poor, and the same ingredients were repeatedly reused in different dishes with only minor changes. The breakfast was far below what I would expect from a Turkish hotel and lacked many traditional Turkish breakfast items. The cleanliness was also unsatisfactory. Only visible areas seemed to be cleaned, while places such as under the beds were neglected. The biggest concern was safety around the swimming pool. Parts of the plastic covering surrounding the pool were broken and missing, causing my daughter and several other children to fall and get hurt. I reported this hazard to the pool supervisor multiple times and even have photos as evidence, but it was not repaired during my entire seven‑day stay. In addition, some staff members, particularly at the bars and in the spa area, were unprofessional. The woman promoting massages and Turkish bath services was especially pushy and unpleasant in her interactions with guests. Overall, the hotel failed to meet basic standards of food quality, cleanliness, service, and guest safety.
