We spent our days at Methu Villa and it was great; the location is excellent—just a bit off the main road but still close to the beach and local spots—and the family was really friendly. We felt right at home immediately and would definitely return! We have nothing negative to add :)

The family‑owned homestay is very nice and right next to Midigama beach. The room was spotless, and they greeted me with tea and assisted with everything I needed. Laundry service is available, and there are plenty of restaurants and the beach within walking distance. I’d highly recommend it. The fan, however, was insufficient and the room felt very hot.

The spot sits nicely between Ahangama and Weligama. Everything looked clean, and even on rainy days the accommodation was pleasant because we could open the doors. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Water can be bought at the accommodation at supermarket prices! Unfortunately, there was no Wi‑Fi, even though it was mentioned in the listing.

Very friendly hosts! Simple but great value for money. It’s a bit in the middle of nowhere.

We stayed for 10 days and it was an amazing experience. The rooms feel fresh and the bed is super comfy! The family and their dog are even lovelier. We’ll definitely come back 🫶🏻
