“Very nice and pleasant, will definitely stay again and use the pool next time.”
At first glance, the parking area and the hotel entrance looked poorly maintained, which made for a rough start. Once inside the reception, however, the place felt completely transformed, and the staff were friendly and helpful. They explained that the hotel was being redecorated in stages, and it certainly looked better. The atmosphere was lovely. My room was spacious, clean, and decorated in a modern style; the bed was very comfortable and the linen fresh. On the downside, the parking area outside was inconvenient, and there was no Wi‑Fi information provided in the rooms.
“Very enjoyable”
Breakfast was good with a nice selection of items. The downside was that the bedroom floors had four or five steps to descend, and there was no rail.
“Find other options if you are planning to come to Bournemouth”
There was nothing positive to mention. The hotel had no air conditioner and no air‑cycle system.
“As good as it could be!!!!”
Expected 1 room for a party of 4 adults and dog. Was pleasently suprised when we was given a small suite with seperate room with bunk beds and main room with very large bed [6 foot wide] and a small bed [for the dog] I loved the full bath room. Although I paid the booking in advance. I had to pay an extra £20 a night for the dog and £12 a night for parking. Very limited parking so if we went out we probably not get a space and have to park and pay again somewhere else. The lifts are very small and not always working. Our party comprised of 2 old people and 2 18 year old autistic young people plus a dog. The 2 youngsters couldn't go up the 4 flights of stairs on their own. Us 2 oldies had to take it in turns walking up with them. also the TV did not work
The hotel’s location is close to the beach, close to the centre, and very clean. The only problem was that, even though I paid for breakfast, I wasn’t added to the list, which was embarrassing. Fortunately, the desk staff were very helpful and understood the situation, resolving it quickly.
