A nice, modern and clean room, and the hotel’s location is very good as a starting point for activities in Cologne, but the open bathroom area with a shower has no privacy screen.

The place was clean and modern, and public transport connects it well to the city centre. The door entry is all through a mobile phone, so keep your phone charged. Luggage storage isn’t possible after check‑out, but they kindly extended our check‑out time to accommodate our bags.

The bed was good and the shower had great water pressure, but checking in without a reception was awkward, there was no air conditioning and the room temperature was 24 °C, you need an HDMI to stream, there was no coffee machine in the room, and no mini‑fridge.

The location is good, the building feels modern and functional, but there is no wardrobe, so unpacking is not easy.

Although no staff were on site, my issue was resolved quickly and two stops are reachable in no time; however, the constant noise of planes and ambulance sirens makes it hard for light sleepers to keep a window open.
