The host was super friendly and always thought of us. The room was spotless and got cleaned daily. The spot is great and easy to reach by bus or train. Breakfast was enough and the coffee was top‑notch.

Breakfast was included and the staff were friendly. The room was comfy, with a nice garden view and a door to the terrace, plus a fridge and microwave to use. The only downside was a dirty, moldy shower curtain.

Room cleaned every day, which was a relief. The host was really accommodating, something you don't always find elsewhere in Europe.

The hotel is right next to Ringgenberg station and the owner is friendly. The bathroom and shower share a room and are only separated by curtains, which is a bit awkward. On the second night I found a dead fly in the bed, and the room was a bit chilly.

The little lakeside hotel was a solid base for day trips to Schynige Platte and Grindelwald. The owner was friendly and cooked great breakfasts. The rooms need a facelift and the wifi signal is weak.
