I was thrilled by the prime spot that let me stroll straight to the beach or a few eateries, but the hostel sat atop a bar that blasted noise until closing, making sleep impossible and the cost felt steep for what I got.

The front‑desk team were friendly, free parking was a real plus, the bed was decent, and I felt safe bringing my child, but the room floor was dirty and dusty, the bathroom carried a cigarette scent from downstairs, the toilets and showers kept running and wasting water, and both the downstairs and other guests’ door slams made for a noisy stay.

I loved every minute of my time here and would book again in a heartbeat! The site is fantastic and the property stays spotless. Even though the bathroom is shared, it was impressively clean and tidy. The staff were super friendly, welcoming, and went out of their way to help, making this an amazing stay in Fremantle that I can’t recommend enough. The only thing that would have made it perfect is if the rooms had private ensuites, but that’s just the building layout and it didn’t spoil the wonderful experience.
