The staff were very friendly, and despite language barriers (non‑English) they used a translator and were eager to help; they handled unconventional situations like an early departure before breakfast superbly, and the rooms were clean and cozy.

The reception was friendly, the room very clean, staying with a dog was hassle‑free, the evening meal tasty and the breakfast plentiful with fried eggs; it’s right on the Malerwanderweg, and we’re grateful we could park our car there free for four days.
