The room furnishings, the excellent breakfast, and the friendly staff made us stay a few days longer than planned.

The rooms were spotless and pretty, the natural pool was a nice refresher, and there were always enough loungers. The spot is perfect for hiking – just a five‑minute walk to the Steinplatte gondola, so you can leave your car behind. Breakfast and dinner were decent, home‑style food, but the evening menu can be a bit tough for vegetarians; the staff did their best to offer alternatives. It’s priced like a 4‑star place, but the rooms lack a fridge, which is a bit of a let‑down.

We had a great stay: the hotel was clean, the staff were friendly, and the half‑board meals were amazing – the kitchen really shines. The only gripe was the thin juice concentrate at breakfast; a richer option would have been nicer.
