We enjoyed being close to the river; the place was clean, comfortable, and offered plenty of amenities. A bonus was the motel that served breakfast. Near the motel entrance was a fish & chips & pizza café and a liquor store within walking distance. Fish & chips with a glass of wine while watching the sunset over the river was perfect! It wasn’t a Hilton, but the Tweed River Motel had everything we needed.

The spot was right on the Tweed River, very beautiful. Nothing really stood out as negative; it was good value for money.

The bed felt comfy and the towels were spotless, but the neighbors had a huge dog named Carcass that stayed up late, so I could hear everything and it scared me a bit; I ended up putting a towel under the door to block light and noise.
