The air‑conditioner in the room only operated from 09:00 to 23:00, so we had to open the window and it was very noisy; the escape staircase on the 7th floor was blocked by shopping carts, preventing us from descending—see picture.

The staff were great, but there were many beggars right outside the hotel constantly asking for money and following you secretly; if you give them nothing they don’t leave you alone by begging.

The staff were courteous and helpful, never refusing any request and even handing us an umbrella one rainy day; however, the cleaning was not given much attention—after three days we had to leave a note to have the trash bin emptied, and after that they stopped coming to clean again.
