The owner was very friendly and helpful, the atmosphere was nice, and the location outside the old town in a non‑touristy area was still easily reachable with nearby restaurants and shops. The rooms were large with comfortable beds—something you don’t take for granted in Thailand—an attractive shower, reliable hot water, a big fridge stocked with free water bottles. The only minor annoyance was the initial buzzing of the power supply, but I quickly got used to it.
