We had a fantastic stay with Olivier, Rensa, and Oxana, who were perfect hosts—attentive, available, and full of great local tips. The canoe trip on the river was amazing, and the food made from fresh ingredients was excellent. We saw several bungalows, all very clean, well‑decorated, and comfortable. Our two kids loved the spacious, well‑maintained environment. A huge thank you for everything; we’ll definitely come back with great pleasure.

“An unforgettable stay!”

Our time at “Les 4 Abres” was unforgettable; it’s more than a beautiful place—it’s a special sanctuary that instantly slows you down, relaxes you, and makes you feel at home. The tranquility, natural surroundings, organic and lovingly prepared food, and especially the hosts’ warmth and hospitality create a truly unique experience. From the first moment, communication was seamless, every request was met kindly, and we felt genuinely welcomed and cared for. The cleanliness and attention to detail were exceptional throughout the property—grounds, bedrooms, and bathrooms all immaculate and lovingly maintained, making it one of the cleanest and best‑maintained places I’ve seen in Indonesia. Little details like outdoor showers surrounded by nature, airy bedrooms, and breathtaking starry skies add to its charm. The food was outstanding—fresh, organic, and passionately prepared. Don’t miss Olivier’s own Arac cocktail—it was incredibly delicious. “Les 4 Abres” is unforgettable, and the wonderful, warm, inspiring people behind it make it truly extraordinary. We wholeheartedly recommend it and already look forward to returning, hopefully for a longer stay, to this magical place and its memorable hosts. “Bijzondere plek om volledig tot rust te komen.”

A nice, peaceful spot in the untouched North. The shared bathroom was a downside, and there was no toilet paper.

“Rest and relax in this tranquil oasis.”

What a lovely place to rest and relax. We stayed in the main chalet with four rooms and a huge shared verandah, plus sunbeds and hammocks under the trees. Breakfast was delicious and filling, served wherever you wanted. The shared ablutions had powerful showers, and there was a partly screened outdoor shower if you preferred. Olivier offered helpful suggestions, and we rented bikes to cycle to the river mouth at the beach. Rensa cooked tasty meals, especially the grilled fish that required advance ordering. Phone reception was available a little along the road toward the beach, but it was actually nice to be offline! The main accommodation building with four separate bedrooms had open wall tops, so you could hear everything in the other rooms, albeit muffled—though we were alone most of the stay, so it didn’t bother us.
