“This hotel is ok for someone who is on a small budget and happy with basic facilities.”
I found the hotel’s location decent, with bars and eateries nearby and the neighborhood was quiet—though that calm might not suit those craving a livelier scene. It’s only about a 15‑minute walk to the train station. The building itself was hard to spot because its name isn’t displayed on the exterior; I only located it after asking at a restaurant that happened to be next door. There was no staff on the premises.
The place was well situated. However, the room was not clean and felt too small.
“Gehorig en beetje oud”
The location was good and close to the station, and free drinks in the mini‑fridge were nice. The shower was pleasant. The photos were clearly outdated, and the lack of staff was a drawback. It was quite noisy; a room next to ours started partying at 4 pm, and we could hear them even when we were supposed to be sleeping. The night‑time vomiting was a problem, and with no staff around, partygoers had free rein.
“Pretty and well-located, but not luggage-friendly”
The hotel is lovely, clean, and well located, but if you have heavy luggage or mobility issues, note that a steep flight of stairs right at the entrance leads to reception with no ramp or assistance visible; lugging a 25 kg suitcase up on arrival was a challenge, so a heads‑up on the listing would help future guests.
The rooms were nice, and having a bar and a coffee machine with complimentary pods and water was a plus. The bathroom, though, had a persistent mold smell that I couldn’t shake off. The rooms are on the top floor and there’s no elevator, so carrying two large suitcases was very uncomfortable.
