Friendly staff were very welcoming, and the place feels locally owned and authentic. Getting around was a hassle; you have to book a taxi in advance. I tried UBER, but they could not locate a driver, so I ended up using a Credit. Book a taxi ahead!!

The pub itself, the meal we had, and the breakfast were all great, and the staff were friendly. The bedroom had low beams, which made it difficult for anyone over 5 feet tall.

Appleby is lovely, and the bar restaurant is nice. The place feels a little stuffy because the windows cannot be opened for fresh air.

The pub is cozy, the location is good, the staff are friendly, the room is nicely decorated, and the food and drink are good. Parking is on the street. We stayed in room 7 in the attic; if you are taller than 5 feet, you’ll have to get to know the low beams intimately 🤪.

The property is beautiful, with plenty of parking on the road outside and lovely autumn décor. The room was nice, offering tea and coffee, a nice shower, big fluffy towels, and plenty of hot water. The food was not great, but they refunded our uneaten meals. Traffic noise from room 1 was loud until late and started again early.
