The place felt luxurious, but the bar was disappointing and there were no sports channels in the rooms to watch the World Cup.

The amazingly attentive staff, who were so authentically friendly. The property architecture. The kitchenette in the room was brilliant for the hike The bar to watch the championship football The staff who rescued my wet shirt 30min before departure and somehow managed to dry it. I would have loved a great coffee made from a good espresso machine. I realise that this is small in comparison with all the positives

Fantastic staff, friendly and very helpful. Beautiful decor and outlook to both sea and mountains. Excellent restaurants. Great sized rooms with lovely decor. Location ideal on the edge of Funchal. Nothing
