A lovely spot in the countryside, perfect for those who want to avoid the tourist bustle on Rügen. There is space for bikes and an E‑bike charging option. In summer it can get very hot under the roof with no way to cross‑vent, and the former dining area is completely unused; at least a drink cooler would be nice.

The peaceful surroundings, the view, and the spacious, bright room with a (somewhat limited) ability to cook for yourself. The bed and bedding were a bit rough. The room on the first floor has no outdoor space, and the alternative downstairs with a small terrace was very dark and cold.

The owner was nice and friendly, but that was about it. Almost every corner had spider webs. The built‑in fridge is very loud, and the outlets in the apartment are worn out—nothing plugs in securely. There is no oven, though we knew that. The Wi‑Fi is strong but the connection speed is very slow, probably throttled. No smart TV, only public broadcasting. The beds are hard like a board, though that varies by personal preference.
