“Porto is beautiful- Mainsail apartment is a great stay x”

The location was perfect. The room was lovely with a riverside view and felt right in the heart of the Ribeira district. The kettle, cups and fridge were in the room and the bathroom was en‑suite. Wash‑up facilities were provided but unused. There were no tea spoons, and basic crockery and cutlery such as bowls, plates, knives, forks and spoons were missing. We had planned to eat a simple breakfast in the apartment with the shutters open enjoying the river view; it wasn’t a disaster, just altered the start of the day and the budget.

The location was fine. The bathroom had no water pressure and the tiles were dirty with mold. I wonder why there’s a rain shower for decoration when no water comes out!

“Great stay. Apartment comfortable but could do with some love.”

The location was excellent. The bed and room were comfortable. The fan was so dirty it didn’t blow air. The shower overflowed easily. The main lights didn’t work. There weren’t enough power sockets to run the fan, light and kettle simultaneously.

The location was very central with all amenities nearby. The bathroom was old (yellowed shower curtain) and the windows weren’t double‑glazed; the busy street caused a lot of noise and there was no air conditioning even though we had a fan. There was a fridge, coffee machine and kettle but no pods for the welcome kit.

“It was decent and in a good location by the river.”

I was happy with the spot—super convenient—and the room was okay. The windows wouldn’t open and I think the shower was broken, so the shower head fell a few times.
