“Als Zwischenstopp ok”

I was passing through and the hotel was right on my route, so I dropped by the pool in the late afternoon for a swim. The breakfast spread was generous, even offering a traditional breakfast presented with care as part of the international buffet. The staff were very friendly. Unfortunately the hotel feels a bit old; the door to my room was locked but there was a large gap to the hallway, and the room was quite noisy.

“The hotel needs to be updated, especially fresh paint and new carpet. Pool should be open till 11ish”

Breakfast was fine. The hotel itself is old, the carpet and other furnishings show wear. The biggest let‑down was that the pool closed early—at 7 pm on some days and 8 pm on others—so I couldn’t swim in the evening even though it was scorching hot.

The location is great, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Niko is a legend. I’ll book again.

“Très déçu. Ne mérite pas son prix.”

Not much to praise; the pictures are wildly misleading and everything feels stuck in the 1950‑60s with no real renovations, the room view looked out onto neighboring buildings and the breakfast, while plentiful, was of low quality. To make matters worse the pool was closed when we arrived, our room had only a single power socket for phones, the wallpaper was peeling… overall the upkeep was minimal.

The hotel has a large garden that was perfect for walking our dog, the pool area is very nice, breakfast was amazing in a cozy restaurant, and the two ladies at reception were efficient, polite, and did their best to accommodate our requests and keep our stay comfortable.
