A classic hotel right next to Monthey train station: rooms were clean, beds comfortable and staff very friendly. Breakfast covered everything we needed. Sleeping with the window open was only partly possible because trains left very early, but that was clear from the start.

The staff were very friendly and the host was wonderful. The room was huge with a terrace and the breakfast was good. As the name suggests, it’s right by the station, so if you want absolute silence you should look elsewhere. The location is good, and you can walk to everything. There’s a nice garden to have a drink, but unfortunately there’s no food.
