“Comfortable, spacious, good facilities and great location and friendly staff is a winning combination.”

The spot was perfect, with a view of the river, and the facilities were spacious and comfortable. The staff were helpful, though speaking to non‑Spanish speakers was a bit tricky but manageable. They were very useful when arranging tours, attractions, and transport. On the downside, street noise on one side and the rushing river on the other were a bit intrusive, but acceptable. Breakfast came as a set menu that was too large for us; make sure you tell them what you want before it’s cooked.

I found the hotel to be very comfortable, extremely clean, and staffed by friendly employees who went out of their way to meet my needs. The food, which was prepared fresh on the spot, was absolutely delicious. However, I did find the meal times to be a bit restrictive, particularly for early risers or those with early morning activities planned. It would be great if the hotel offered a simple take-out option for those who need it.

“Would stay again”

I had an excellent stay at this hotel, with a standout breakfast that set the tone for the day. The rooms were great, and I appreciated how easily I could access everything I needed. The proximity to local attractions was a definite plus.

“Zafiro in Mindo”

Our visit to this hotel was truly enjoyable, thanks to the warm and welcoming staff who went out of their way to book tours for us. The delicious meals and comfortable room with a lovely balcony overlooking the stream made our stay even more special. The bathroom was spacious, and the shower had a lovely consistent temperature. We're already planning our next visit.
