The location was good. The facilities felt old and the cleanliness was not great; there was only one room key, which was inconvenient when going to the bath, and the room light was broken.

I could hear stories unique to the local area.

The views were amazing, the location nice, the food delicious and the service outstanding. The carpet in our room was a bit dirty on the balcony side, and the balcony, needs a bit of a reform as well

The dinner and breakfast are served restaurant-style with a table and dishes already laid out for you, along with waitstaff. The room is quite large and the balcony has a view of the lake. The balcony sliding door can be opened and it provides a great flow of fresh air. A single complimentary serving of mochi and tea is provided with the room. There were especially strong winds on the night we stayed and it rattled the balcony door. Closing it mitigates the problem, but you get the sound of howling winds instead. For a large room there aren't a lot of AC power points to work with
