The location and room quality were great. The roosters in the garage were beautiful, and it was the only hotel in rural Vietnam that didn’t wake me up. It’s geared toward local business travelers, which wasn’t my target audience, but the hospitality was still very welcoming.

The city view was great and the swimming pool was awesome, but the air conditioning in the room didn’t work, so the staff moved us to a better room with good air conditioning.

The room was decent. The beds were comfortable. The location was good. Good for a base while exploring local landmarks. Eg. The Dam and the Pagoda, in Hoa Binh. The hotel ran the local taxis for us, as there is no Grab service. I think the hotel caters more for Vietnamese who are either stopping on the way to another destination or having a weekend away. Which leads to the breakfast which caters was more national than international. It was not a large range

I was really pleased with the location and the staff’s enthusiasm, especially the manager who helped when my car broke down.
