The setting was beautifully quiet and scenic, and it was a treat to wander around and see all the birds, horses, and Bella the family Newfoundland. Mel and Ben were very friendly and welcoming, and chatting with Mel about the horses was great. We also got to meet the newborn foal.

The quietness and landscape were relaxing. The hosts were incredibly accommodating, letting kids interact with farm animals and even hold many of them. I would highly recommend staying there with young children.

We had a memorable stay at Mel and Ben’s home. They were incredibly welcoming, and the kids loved learning about farm life. They even witnessed a foal being born—a moment they’ll never forget! The dogs and chickens were a huge hit too. The home was very comfortable for our family of five, and we’ll definitely return.
