The accommodation in Linguaglossa is beautiful, with a lovely garden and plenty of atmosphere; the Palazzo itself is stunning, and on request you can take a brief tour of the property. The large garden, bar, and pool are well maintained and perfect for relaxing. For us, the location was ideal for starting a climb up the north side of Etna, and the trip to the start point at Piano Provenzana was organized on short notice by Guidetna. Nothing to complain about.

The setting is quiet and pretty, but the building is quite noisy, which is disappointing for the price.

The garden, with its variety of fruit trees, was special, and the 17th‑century historic building was stunning. The staff were friendly and ready to help with any request. However, there was a significant gap between what I thought I had booked based on the photos and what I actually received, which was a real let‑down given my high expectations.

“Etna house”

The whole area is nice and quiet, and the Palazzo tour was great! The air conditioning was a bit weak, but since the house is on a certain high floor, that wasn’t a big issue.

The place is beautifully located, the cottage is comfortably furnished with a view of the garden and church towers, and there’s constant access to a well‑kept pool with loungers and umbrellas. It’s a fantastic starting point for Etna, with nearby beautiful and less‑traveled trails. We were shown around the entire estate by a very friendly and helpful owner, and the church bells woke us each morning. In the summer months, air conditioning would be useful, especially in the upper‑floor rooms.
