The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was nice, all in a very traditional setting. The check‑in time is before 8 pm, so extra fees apply if you arrive after that, and the 10 am checkout felt a bit early for me.

The place sits within walking distance of the town centre and is a short drive from several picturesque villages; the breakfast was exceptional and the owners were lovely and very helpful.

The hosts were brilliant, friendly and helpful, and the property itself was lovely and interesting; the breakfast was excellent, featuring homemade bread and honey from their own hives.

The breakfast was top quality, especially the bread, and Ellie, the host, was incredibly welcoming; the double bed felt a bit too small for my liking.
