The decor, cleanliness, ambience, and food were all top-tier; Benjamin, the lodge owner, was incredibly attentive to detail and customer service, and the meals alone would bring me back, not to mention the stunning interiors and nearby citrus orchards—Benjamin and his team impressed us, and we’d gladly return again and again! Everything was fantastic!

The location was magical, Benjamin and the staff made us feel very comfortable, and the spacious bed and shower were fantastic—101 percent perfect. There was nothing else to report.

The place is excellently located with breathtaking views. The rooms are clean, roomy, and make you feel at home. Coffee, the lodge’s friendly pet dog, and Benjamin, the owner, added a special touch and made us feel very welcome. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Ukholo Lodge is amazing, the best lodge we’ve stayed at. Owner and chef Benjamin Thompson’s attention to detail is outstanding. The lodge, recently fully renovated and furnished with colors echoing the distant Cedeberg Mountains over the valley it overlooks, provides the perfect overnight stop. It’s well located on the N7, overlooks Citrusdal, and has easy access via a paved driveway. Both breakfast and dinner are specially curated by the chef and presented with true love and passion. The lounge area and roaring fireplace, with aromas from the chef’s cooking, create an ideal place to rest and appreciate this special lodge.
