If you’re searching for a home away from home, look no further! Shekhar was the best host I’ve met in Nepal – dedicated, funny, and resourceful. I’ll be back to his place in a few days. The rooms are simple but clean and have charm.

The room is nicer than the pictures shown on Booking, which is rare. As the other reviews say, the mattress was brick‑hard. I lay on the duvet and used my hiking sleeping bag as a cover to avoid being directly on it.

Amazing hotel! The owner is incredibly helpful, you meet amazing people here, and the location is the best. It feels more like home than a hotel :) You have a kitchen and coffee and tea available at all times :)

It was an absolutely wonderful experience and great stay. We were planning to stay in Bhaktapur for 2 nights, but this place is beautiful and worth staying longer than 2 days – there’s so much to see and do. The guesthouse is very cozy, the room is clean, there’s a rooftop from which you can sometimes see the snow mountain, and there’s a kitchen upstairs where you can cook. Big thanks to Shekhar for everything, see you soon 🫶 No complaints.
