“Friendly dorm, great vibe”
The dorm was awesome, staff and welcome were super friendly. It’s a small place, feels personal, and perfect if you’re just staying a few days in Uvita.
“Good rooms, but a bit far”
The kitchen’s nice, the AC kicks in at night and keeps the room cool all day, and the bathrooms are tidy. The room itself is solidly built and well-equipped. The only downside is the distance from town; after a whale‑watching tour you had to walk almost half an hour in the sun, and the common areas get hot with few fans.
“Relaxed spot, but AC is misleading”
Loved the chill vibe—super relaxed, great location near beaches, waterfalls, and a supermarket, but tucked away from the street. The kitchen had everything you’d need, showers were hot, and the beds were comfy. The only hiccup was the AC: it’s only in the sleeping area and doesn’t turn on until about 8 pm, even though it was advertised as full AC.
“Clean, private, and welcoming”
The owners were really nice and everything was spotless. The beds feel private, and all the living space—living area, kitchen, bathrooms—is outdoors but still feels enclosed like the pictures show. All in all, it was fantastic.
“Homey, friendly, but only a day”
Loved the homely feel—staff were super friendly and the owner went above and beyond. I didn’t know Sander played pickleball until he offered to be my partner, and he even drove me to the courts, just a 9‑minute walk away. It’s a great spot for solo travelers or couples, close to the beach and easy to bike around Uvita. The only thing that bothered me was that I could only stay one day; otherwise, it felt like home and I’d love to come back longer.
