The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Rebecca the house manager—she was just amazing! The beds felt like a dream, and the house turned out to be larger than we expected. The kitchen was spacious and stocked with everything we needed, so we cooked plenty of good meals. Overall, we’re thrilled with our stay and would definitely recommend it.

The house exudes a charming vintage vibe, and it’s obvious the host has put a lot of effort into the property. The bedrooms were spotless and cozy, the kitchen‑TV area was roomy, and having a TV in each bedroom was a thoughtful addition. We especially liked how the host let us drop off our bags early while we were traveling for a funeral; that kindness made our day easier. On the downside, the “software” of the guest experience could improve. The ID policy was only mentioned after we arrived and were already looking for directions, which was confusing. While we understand the security need, it would have been better to know beforehand during booking. The comment “this is my mother’s house, we need an ID” made us feel a bit suspicious. A few basic drinks would have been nice, and many kitchen cabinets were closed—items not meant for guests could simply be removed or clearly labeled, leaving the rest accessible. Some of the bedroom shower spaces are also quite cramped, offering little room to move.
