Pousada Sol e Mar

I stayed in a premium room and everything was excellent, especially the mattress, sheets, and pillows. Since it’s a family place, there was a bit of noise from children playing, but it didn’t bother us and never came through during sleeping hours. The guacamayos were a bit noisy, but not as much as some say. And although it’s a block from the beach, the access is almost direct because there’s a small alley that leads straight to the shore.

The location of the inn was excellent, as was the beach bar and pool, except for the staff working there. The service at the beach restaurant could be improved.

“Regular”

The beach front and beach restaurant were great. However, there were animals inside the complex. Our room (and several others) were practically next to ducks and swans, and the noise and smell from the stagnant water were unbearable at all times. There is no elevator, so carrying luggage is uncomfortable. The shower had zero water pressure and was very lukewarm (most showers only have one knob for hot water, no cold). The only good thing was the friendliness of the staff.
