The spot is gorgeous, right in the heart of Silbertal, and the beds are top‑notch. But the staff? They barely speak German or English and spend all their time smoking right by the open doors—everyone gets a whiff. The breakfast was a disaster, even the orange juice tasted off. When I asked for a bill, they handed me a phone and started talking about “speaking” and then told me to call Lisa. Not a great start or finish.

The hotel is well equipped and the price is fair. Breakfast and the on‑site restaurant are solid. The only thing missing in the room is a kettle—would have been handy. The online booking and check‑in process felt clunky and a bit frustrating.

The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. The wellness area is lovely, and the only downside is the 17‑minute drive to the Valise train station. That’s probably the only thing that’s not perfect.
