The building is a lovely old structure with a beautiful renovation and tasteful décor, and the huge room offers a view of the village, but the bathroom is too small and the toilet is wedged between the sink and shower.

We stayed one night and overall everything was fine; we dined at the hotel for dinner and breakfast, both were adequate, though a bit of upkeep could improve the place.

The hotel was charming in a very quiet village and the 15‑minute drive from the motorway was worth it, but the shower was temperamental, there was no handrail in the walk‑in, and the base was a little slippery.

The host was wonderful, friendly, helpful, and an excellent cook; the building, Paleis van de Bisschop, has been beautifully restored, the surroundings are lovely, and everything here is fantastic.
