The place is very peaceful. However, the furnishings are very old and not worth the money. I had problems with the Wi‑Fi connection, and the room I was given was on the lowest floor, so I had to use a staircase that was a bit hard to go down and up. I asked for a room change, but they didn’t give me a new room that same day; the next day they managed to provide one but charged me extra for the change. In that case, I believe the connection issue should have been handled by hotel management.

The location of the property was simply spectacular, overlooking the valley and surrounded by forest, offering a breathtaking view. To reach the room it felt like conquering the summit of a mountain: it was more than a hotel, it seemed like a stop on the Great Wall of China! With a heavy suitcase the walk became a real leg workout (perfect if you’d forgotten to hit the gym that day). Fortunately, the staff helped us, otherwise we probably would have had to leave the suitcase halfway and say goodbye forever. The bathroom had a particular quirk: it turned into a private pool after every shower. Instead of just washing, it felt like a survival test: wet feet were mandatory to enter the bathroom, as if the shower was just a warm‑up before diving into the water. The Lake Como was in the room, but without the panoramic view. The most “wild” part was definitely the rooster under the room. It seemed to have a personal biological alarm included in the price: every morning at exactly 5:00, like a Swiss watch, the concert started. The windows, unfortunately, were not very sound‑proof and didn’t close properly, so more than a rooster outside the room it felt like having a new feathered roommate inside the room. Final advice: for motorbike rentals I would consider other options. Our two bikes both had a bit of “personality”: the first decided to retire after just 100 metres, while the second sometimes liked to turn off to remind us to enjoy the view and slow down the day.
