I stayed at Forest Soul by BOB Hotels, one of the best resorts in Wayanad, featuring a swimming pool and forest view. The rooms were clean and neat, the location was peaceful, and the property was well maintained. I highly recommend it for a Wayanad resort stay, a nature resort in Wayanad, and family‑friendly resorts in Wayanad. I’ll visit again.
“Worst experience, never recommend 😓😓”
Nothing but that place was, the property is in very poor condition with almost no maintenance. It does not match the pictures shown, which appear to be outdated and not reflective of its current state in 2026. While the location itself is beautiful—the climate, surroundings, and natural beauty are truly enjoyable—the hotel does not do justice to the area. There are much better hotels nearby that are well-maintained and worth considering. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone based on its current condition. I had a very disappointing experience at Forest Soul by BOB Hotels, Pulpally, Wayanad. Our check-in happened very late at night around 2:30 AM, yet the staff still insisted on a strict 11:00 AM checkout. What made this even worse was that showed the checkout time as 11:30 AM, but the hotel still forced us to leave sharply at 11:00 AM, which was really unacceptable and misleading. The property’s own standard checkout policy also mentions 11:00 AM, making the mismatch in what was shown during booking even more frustrating. When I politely requested just a half-hour extension considering the very late-night check-in, they completely refused, which felt very unreasonable and insensitive. On top of that, the room maintenance was extremely poor. The bathroom was dirty, the bathroom lights were not working, and even though a heater was installed, it was completely non-functional. The water flow from the pipe/shower was extremely slow with almost no pressure, making it very inconvenient to use. Overall, the stay was very bad due to poor service, misleading checkout information, lack of basic maintenance, and no flexibility from the staff. I would not recommend this place unless they seriously improve their hospitality, maintenance, and guest handling

Rahul, the caretaker, is friendly, but there are no other facilities besides the room. The hot water is unreliable, and regular water doesn't come into the washroom. There's no support team—just one helpful boy who knows little, so it's not worth the money we paid.
I had a great stay at Forest Soul Wayanad. We booked a discount rate, but they upgraded us to the best rooms in the resort. The rooms were very neat and clean, the bed and breakfast was excellent, and the swimming pool with forest view was just right. It was a perfect getaway into the wild and a great trip. I would definitely book again and am waiting to see the discounted offers pop up, which ideally happen twice a week during weekdays as mentioned by the hotel staff. I expect internet and electricity downtime, and they did mention this well in advance since it’s a forest area.
