Hotel Le Dauphin in Honfleur occupies three 17th-century wooden houses. The reception and 12 rooms are in Maison du Dauphin, with a tea room and breakfast room on the ground floor. Maison Des Loges houses a fitness room, sauna, and 14 rooms. Maison Sainte Catherine features three 2-bedroom apartments and three 1-bedroom apartments with church views. Free public parking is 400 meters away.

We enjoyed a great and extensive breakfast with very friendly service, and appreciated that we could eat as early as 7 am. The bed was a good size and the night was very quiet. Renting a nearby parking garage was a nice option; it worked for our small car, but a larger vehicle would likely have trouble fitting. We were grateful that being two people didn’t pose a problem even though I accidentally booked for one person. The room wasn’t ready until late, even though we were told a 3 pm arrival was fine. After a long drive, it was exhausting to still not be in our room and we couldn’t be told when it would be ready. The room ended up being very small, cramped, and dark, with a window that opened directly onto the neighbor’s window. The bed was okay but a bit slanted.

The hotel’s location is ideal right in the center of the old town. The three interlocking historic houses give it a special charm, and the staff are very friendly. The breakfast was varied and excellent. Our room was very small (acceptable for a single night), but we only had two roof windows overlooking the surrounding roofs, which was disappointing. If we stay at Du Dauphin again, we’ll only do so if a room with a view of Place Pierre Berthelot is guaranteed.

Petite chambre bien équipée (bouilloire, thé, café) Bonne literie et bien insonorisée Accueil impeccable, on vous accompagne dans votre chambre pour la présenter avec beaucoup d'écoute et d'échange. Un petit déjeuner ou il est impossible de ne pas trouver ce qu'on aime (sucré,salé,produits frais et locaux., idem pour le service qui est impeccable. Notre chambre avait une partie basse en pente, ça ne nous a pas foncièrement dérangés mais ça pourrait pour des personnes plus âgés (toutes les chambres ne doivent pas être comme ça, juste pour relever un petit point négatif malgré notre satisfaction)
