I liked the style of the place and its close‑by waterfront location, as well as the nearby shop and restaurant, but the bedding was a problem – the two mattresses were uncomfortable and noisy.

The bathrooms are always clean, but the beds are uncomfortable and the overall standard is below average.

Every visit here is a delight, and there’s nothing to complain about.

I found this spot ideal for a short, inexpensive stay in Amsterdam; the toilets and bathroom were spotless, and the open kitchen with fridges let us borrow pans and plates whenever we needed. The staff were genuinely helpful, and the little wagonette fit us two perfectly. The restaurant offered a modest menu, but everything we ordered tasted great. We also rented two bikes, making it super easy to reach the city centre.

My son and I really enjoyed renting the canoe, and everything else was fine.
