Kat the hostess was welcoming; the bed was really comfy and the social lounge with a log burner was an added bonus that kept the place toasty. The place feels a little rustic, but that adds character.

Kate the host was engaging, sharing her knowledge of the area and keen that we should enjoy our stay. Being on the Otago trail is certainly a good stop, and the pub just nearby is a bonus. It was a truly memorable stay, definitely recommended.

The proximity to the rail trail and the easy walk to the local hotel were great.
