The location is convenient, close to the metro station, Syntagma Square, and the Acropolis. There is a water dispenser available downstairs, and a microwave in the kitchen for basic heating. The room is very small and the facilities are outdated. The faucet is hard to move, the sink has cracks, and the wall paint is peeling. The toilet flush is extremely loud. The building sits above a restaurant street that plays music, so it's very noisy, not suitable for light sleepers. The listing says there's a kitchen for light cooking, but there's no stove, no pots, no pans. That means cooking anything is simply impossible. I had actually planned to buy some crabs from the Central Market and boil them, but that's out of the question. You can only use the microwave in the kitchen to heat things up, or make something with hot water. There's no kettle in the room, only one in the kitchen. The front desk couldn't answer basic questions, such as supermarket hours on Ohi Day or where is the Acropolis ticket office . For a hotel that functions like a youth hostel, I think the front desk should be able to provide this kind of basic information to guests
