Comfortable beds, good air conditioning, and a generous breakfast buffet. The central location and good public transport connections were a plus.

The place was really clean and the spot was brilliant. The staff were all lovely, very helpful and friendly. It was quite noisy at night inside, and the cleaner’s trolley was always parked right outside our door. The room was lovely, but there was no headboard so it wasn’t comfortable to watch TV or sit up in bed, and there was only one comfy chair for a room with two occupants. The style had to be practical.

The staff were welcoming, friendly, and provided great service from reception to dining and bar. Breakfast was excellent, with high‑quality foods and a good variety, and the bar offered both indoor and outdoor options for drinks. The bedroom was clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect—short walking distance to all main tourist sites in the old town and convenient for the hop‑off bus route. Plenty of restaurants and bars were nearby. The en‑suite bathroom didn’t feel like a four‑star room: it was cramped, with very narrow spaces on either side of the sink for toiletries or makeup. The main mirror was too high for me, and the small round mirror below wasn’t a good substitute. A dressing table or desk would have helped, but all we had was a small narrow shelf with a kettle for tea and coffee. The only mirror in the bedroom was a large free‑standing one propped against a wall. I was surprised to find the waste bin in the bathroom heavily corroded/rusted, with a large gaping hole on the side—definitely not what I’d expect in a four‑star hotel bedroom.
