“Bien pour dormir uniquement”
The staff were kind and the accommodation was clean. We chose to stay with a local host partly to eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner at their place and enjoy cheaper prices, but the listed rates were far too steep—more expensive than some 3‑star hotels on the island. We had to eat outside almost every meal, paying 25 000 pesos for a fruit plate. Bikes are usually lent by the establishments, yet we still had to pay 100 000 pesos for two mornings. It’s a shame that with more attractive prices we could have enjoyed more on site.
