“Excellent séjour, reposant et enrichissant.”

We had a fantastic stay. The accommodation was very pleasant, and the host gave us a warm welcome. The place is linked to a sento (public bath). The experience was truly enriching; the various baths were very enjoyable after intense walking days exploring Takayama. The kids loved it and we felt at home. A pleasant surprise was the included breakfast every morning. One of the best rentals we booked on our trip to Japan.

Warm reception, free access to the baths, and a convenient location. We had to wait an hour the first morning to get the key from the establishment (we had to go to a neighbor), but otherwise no other issues.

“Great experience”

Great location near the temple area, and the sento is available. The host was welcoming. The space was mainly a futon area; the kitchen is very small and there is no private bathroom, so you must use the sento.

“Alojamiento perfecto para una estancia japonesa verdadera con onsen incluído”

The onsen was wonderful, though it felt very typical Japanese and a bit uncomfortable for some people. The owner was very friendly, explained many things in English, and gave us a lot of information. The room was super typical and spacious. The only downside was that the shower was in the bathroom and not in the room, which was a bit inconvenient in the morning. It was a bit pricey, but the onsen was included, so that helped. The place is a bit far from the city center, but the walk around is very pleasant.

Our room was fantastic, and the staff were very nice and helpful. The onsen was amazing, and we were lucky to experience it. We met people who arranged dinner for us and drove us there in their car. Nothing negative; it was the best place we stayed in Japan.
