The room was freshly painted and very clean; after staying in five hotels in seven days, this was the first with clean air‑con filters. I always check filters, and most places don’t clean them, but here they were spotless and cool. On day two, after heavy rain, I slipped outside onto a slick patch; there seemed to be a lot of slime around the rooms. I told reception and they pressure‑washed the area around the room exits as I requested. Breakfast was decent, and there were a few small restaurants and mom‑and‑pop shops nearby for essentials. Also, the room cleaners were great. The only downside is that it’s a bit far from larger restaurants and convenience stores, so you’ll need transport—taxi or ride‑share—which you’ll probably need for exploring anyway.
