Hoe gasten het hotel beoordelen, aspect voor aspect.
The place could score both a 9 and a 3 at the same time; the staff were great and the spot with the pool and the sea was also a plus. The main issue was the cleanliness: the water was yellowish to brownish and we even found a cockroach in the room.

The staff were simply amazing, with friendliness and helpfulness that went above and beyond! The furniture, however, was a bit dated and the toilet flush required a delicate touch.

The restaurant food was good and relatively cheap, but the service was somewhat lackluster. The accommodation was partly in a wrecked condition; the shower was open in the bathroom, so everything got flooded after showering. Only one towel per person was provided. The transfer to the pier was inflexible, only running at 9 am. We had read that the transfer was at 9 am, but since we were the only ones using it that day we expected some accommodation. We asked if we could leave at 8:30 am because our ferry was at 9:30 am. The hotel replied, no, that’s not possible. They also claimed that the ferry usually leaves at 10:15 am. We barely caught the ferry, which actually left at 9:30 am. The beach in front of the hotel is unsuitable for swimming because of the many anchored boats, and it’s extremely narrow and not at all nice. Koh Tao is generally a pricey island. We had previously stayed at a beach hotel in Chumphon that was cheaper and much better, with a stunning beach! If you’re not into diving, I wouldn’t recommend it.

The beach was beautiful with a sea view, the staff were laid‑back, and the diving and snorkeling were great.

Top Lage, einfach phänomenal morgens auf den Balkon zu treten und diese Aussicht zu genießen!!!!!!! Die Mitarbeiter waren stets sehr freundlich und hilfbereit!!! Mit dem 10% Voucher haben wir oft nebenan gegessen.fantastisch gegessen!!!!!!! Die Matrazen waren wie Turnmatten, etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber ich hatte nie Probleme und hab immer gut geschlafen ! Ich würde sofort wieder genau dieses Hostel buchen!!! Vielen Dank Carabao Diving Hostel ***
